New York Apartment Living in Kingsland
This project was based in an old three story building in Kingsland used to store wool and other commodities. The floors had been neglected over the years and were in need of a face lift. We removed glue, stains and made multipule repairs to the damaged concrete floor.
Our brief was to keep in chartactor with the build and to produce a hard wearing, durable and easy care floor that would fit in with the nature of the old building. Walls were removed to open the space to create an open plan New York Apatment style living space. Set on the third level it over looks the older parts of Newton.
Our clients are absolutely thrilled with the result. It has exceeded their expectations.
Hyper Drive Penrose
An old warehouse floor brought to life using the Husqvarna Hiperfloor Polished Concrete system. Heavily ground back to expose the aggrgate in the concrete we applied the Full Monty “Husqvaran Hiperfloor’ Polished Concrete flooring system.
This floor will never scratch under normal foot traffic wear and tare. Easily cleaned and very attractive retail floor finish.

Warkworth Surf, Skate and streetwear
Following on from their successful retail shop in Matakana the owners have opened a new Surf and Skate shop in Warkworth.
Our brief was to produce a cost effective, polished concrete floor, with little ongoing maintenance. Something that would lighten the shop without overpowering the merchandise . The floor was covered in worn, old carpet. The carpet was removed and the floors ground back to expose the stone. We applied a water based acrylic sealer to keep costs down and produce a very light coloured floor. This achieved the type of look they wanted to display their wears. The owners were more than happy to provide a reference. We came in on time and under budget.
