Is epoxy flooring suitable for commercial and industrial sites?

Yes, epoxy flooring is a common choice for warehouses, industrial facilities, commercial kitchens, showrooms and retail spaces because it handles forklifts, pallet jacks and constant heavy traffic, helps resists abrasion, chemical spills and surface impact. We install commercial and industrial epoxy flooring across these environments.

How long does epoxy flooring last?

It depends on how the floor is used. Commercial areas with constant forklift and pallet jack traffic wear the topcoat faster than showrooms, offices or light retail spaces, but a properly installed and prepared floor holds up well across all of these settings.

What's involved in day-to-day maintenance?

Looking after epoxy flooring is relatively easy. The surface is seamless, with no grout lines or joints for dirt and debris to collect in. A regular sweep and an occasional mop with a neutral cleaner should be enough.

John's team have done an excellent job bringing the 1987 concrete lounge and dining room floor to a lovely grind and polish finish after the original carpet was removed. A tricky access with stairs and small landing to navigate to gain access. All care was taken and could not have wished for a better result. HIGHLY RECOMENDED

They put in the extra effort to clean up the odd stain and bit of oil, and the floor came up close to perfect,there was just one spot where you could see a discolouration which is fantastic for a concrete that's been used as a garage/barn for decades. Im super happy with the result. It'll be the floor of a minor dwelling, and hardly any more expensive than vinyl plank but with a much nicer finish in my opinion. Would recommend concrete grind and polish whole heartedly. Sorry about the photos, it's been a bit of a building site been mostly keeping the floor covered and protected!
