Dear John, it is with pleasure that I write to thank Concrete Grind and Polish Ltd for the fantastic work undertaken at the NZ National Maritime Museum. From the initial meeting to discuss the process to the user friendly manner in which all steps were explained to the completed finish of the floor was always dealt with in a professional and attentive manner. As you can imagine the Museum needs to have a professional finish to all their works undertaken within the Maritime Museum space as we are the NZ National Maritime Museum and the only attraction on the waterfront in the Auckland CBD. I originally dealt with John who quoted on the job and explained completely the job I would receive. He explained the work precisely in a most professional manner
and I received exactly what he told me I would receive.
Once I accepted the quotation I also dealt with Karen and Paul.
All three plus the men carrying out the work were careful, reliable and extremely professional. Their communication skills were reassuring and prompt.

Having just completed a large ( new build ) aircraft hanger at Ardmore airport Auckland .We contracted Concrete Grind and Polish Ltd to finish the floor with a smooth , strong , serviceable surface . Whilst this is all achievable it requires exact careful preparation for the grinding , hardening , and sealing to be worthwhile for the job. GUESS WHAT : From the placing of the order, to the completion. I met John a couple of years ago as he does all the grinding and polishing of a lot of floors for GJ Gardner Rodney West the company I work for as a Project Manager. Having had a floor ground and polished around 18 years ago by a so called expert I wasn’t that fussed about doing it again. My wife Colleen and I have just finished building our 7th home. After having had the pleasure of seeing real experts doing the job and dealing with someone who is honest and knows what they are talking about I had no hesitation in getting John to price up our floor for us. My wife has had her heart set on having ground polished floors for ever so after I took her to meet John and have a look at his showroom. After that it was a no brainer. He advised on concrete strengths and finishes and came and checked as it was being poured to talk to the layer. His boys then came in and did the initial grind. Paul and the lads are not labourers. They are very knowledgeable in their own right about the process and engage willingly and well with us as clients. After the frames were up and gib on the walls they came back when they said they would and completed the grind and polish. This floor is magnificent. The polish/shine is amazing and needs minimal washing. Generally a sweep or quick vacuum does the job. Colleen absolutely loves it and continues to remind me how clever she was to make sure we had polished floors. I must admit I am an absolute convert now. The floor is cool in summer and warm in winter. The cost worked out around the same price (if not slightly cheaper) than conventional laminate flooring. My wife and I have possibly got one more new home in us before we retire. A smaller one! We will definitely be using John again. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending John and his team/company to anybody thinking of using this process. You will never regret it.

They worked with us before, during and after the pouring of the slab providing expert advice and followed up making sure contractors took care of the ground floor. We found their quotation to be accurate and value for money. We wanted our property in Omaha to have a beach theme and we are grateful for John and Karens professional input.

John, we are writing to thank you for the fantastic job you and your guys did on our floor. You were the only contractors who arrived on time and completed the job exactly to our requirements. We are continually getting comments from friends about how stunning the floor looks and I love the fact that it shows very little dirt. In fact other than vacuming we have only washed it once.

Concrete grind and polish recently ground back our large old and damaged patio, we are very pleased with the final result. John and Paul and their great team were very informative and professional. Firstly having found Concrete Grind & Polish Limited on the internet, John, busy as he was, always returned calls, provided me with a detailed quote, & with his wife Karen were always really pleasant to deal with, compared to other companies I contacted and ask to quote didn’t give me a good sense of trust as what Concrete Grind & Polish did. So on a positive note, John and his team were professional and courterous and did a magnificent transformation of grotty lino glued concrete floors to a stunning ultra modern finish that I am thrilled with. We have a beach property at Tawharanui and recently built a high spec shed. John and his team were fantastic to deal with. He discussed all our options with us and travel wasn't an issue. We choose John Chapman from Concrete Grind & Polish to complete the grind and polish in our new showroom in our Suzuki motorcycle shop. The job was complete in the time frame and without any additional costs. The look and finish that was created was excellent. We have, since the job, had John and his team grind and polish the floor in a sleep out. We first built our house 18 years ago and John and his team polished our floors. We were affected by the Auckland Anniverary floods and I was gobsmacked when I called John and he knew exactly who I was and remembered our house. This went a very long way to making me feel like a valued customer not just a number. If I thought the floor was awesome before, now it is stunning, I absolutely love it. Our construction company have used Concrete Grind & Polish Ltd on two projects now, initially for a garage grind and seal, followed by a diamond grind and polished concrete floor in a large foyer for a current project yet to be handed over to the client. The finish is exceptional and with it currently protected, we can't wait to snap some photos and show the client the end result. The service I have experienced in working with John and Paul has been refreshing, attention to detail, application of knowledge and overall respectful people to collaborate with.
